REGOLAMENTO

Scopo: collegare stazioni portatili che attivano referenze DAI.

Bande: 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m.

Modi: solo SSB.

Categorie: AP - Attivatore portatile, H - Hunter.

Punteggi:

Hunter: ogni QSO in 40 e 80 m varrà 1 punto, ogni QSO in 20 e 15 metri varrà 2 punti, ogni QSO in 10 metri varrà 3 punti.

Attivatori: ogni QSO in 40 e 80 m varrà 1 punto, ogni QSO in 20 e 15 metri varrà 2 punti, ogni QSO in 10 metri varrà 3 punti. A titolo di esempio: 2 referenze in 1 solo comune avranno come score punti-QSO x 2 referenze x 1 comune ....... 2 referenze in 2 comuni diversi avranno come score punti-QSO x 2 referenze x 2 comuni .

Operazioni post DAI-day:

Rules (english)

It is established the “DAI-day”, amateur radio annual event which will be held on first Saturday of October each year, from 06.00 UTC to 17.00 UTC (from 08.00 to 19.00, summer CET time). In 2022 the date is Saturday, October 1st.

Aim: Hunters: must work as many mobile stations activating DAI References as possible. Activators: must work as many Hunters as possible.

Bands: 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m.

Mode: SSB only.

Categories: AP - Activator (portable only), H - Hunter.

AP - Activators/portable: they can activate notwithstanding DAI Regulation until 5 references in the 11-hour duration of the event.

Activators can work Hunters and other Activators, one time per band from same reference or more times per band but from different references. Anyway only QSOs with Hunters will worth, QSOs with other Activators will only count to get that reference credited for DAI Award.

H – Hunters: they can only work the Activators, once per each band from the same DAI reference or more times per band from different references.

It is possible to partecipate in only one category with same callsign.

Points:

Hunters: each QSO on 40 and 80 meters will worth 1 point, each QSO on 20 and 15 meters will worth 2 points, each QSO on 10 meters will worth 3 points. Each DAI reference worked, regardless of the band, will worth as 1 (one) multiplier. The final score will be the sum of the points/QSO multiplied for the sum of the worked DAI references.

Activators: each QSO on 40 and 80 meters will worth 1 point, each QSO on 20 and 15 meters will worth 2 points, each QSO on 10 meters will worth 3 points. Each DAI reference activated, regardless of the band, will worth as 1 (one) multiplier. Each Italian "Comune" activated will worth 1 multiplier. The final score will be the sum of the  points/QSO multiplied for the number of the multipliers.

Activators will use just one Callsign even in case of multi-operators activities.

When an activator moves to another reference, the previous activity will be considered completed. Activators cannot return on compleded activities to add more QSOs

Activators must follow the DAI Rules in particular concerning the number of QSOs (at least 100 contacts for never activated references, at least 80 contacts for already activated references - the rule of 50 QSO for multi-operators activities from same reference is NOT applicable during the DAI-day) and provide evidence to be on the place: for each activated reference the Activator must send a photo with visible both radio station set and the reference, if that is not possible Activators must send a screenshot got from Google Maps or Google Earth with the indication of the reference, the radio station set and the measure of the distance between these two places in meters.

Case of not reaching of the minimum number of QSOs:

In case of in the last activity (as it is not possible to activate next reference without completing the previous one) the minimum number of QSOs won't be accomplished, the Activator will lose the points-QSO for that reference, and thet reference won't be counted as multiplier. The Hunters won't lose those points-QSO and the reference-multiplierfor the DAI-day, but they cannot claim that reference for credit for the DAI Award until the Activator will finish the activity later, in accordance with the DAI Regulation. The logged QSOs will be counted to the Activator for the remainder of the activation in a later date. It is strongly recommended to portable activators to start the last activation only if they are reasonably sure to finish it, in other words to get enough contacts (100 or 80).

Activators and Hunters must operate with power compatible with the provisions of the current laws. Activators must avoid to operate on emergency frequencies.

Post DAI-day operations:

After the DAI-day the partecipants must send within 30 days the log in ADIF format and, for AP category only, the photo and any screenshots to the Manager DAI IK2WZQ address: dai@aribusto.it writing in the Object “DAI-day” followed by the own callsign. Please specify your category: AP or H. Partecipants of category AP must indicate the activated references. The log must contain the code of the DAI reference activated or worked in the “comment” field. Rename your ADIF log as follows: Hunters: DD undescore yourcall.adi, e.g.: DD_IU4ZZZ.adi. Activators: send 1 (one) log each activated reference, with this name: DD_yourcall_XX0001.adi. Don't add /P or similar suffixes. BBLogger Hunter Users that recorded the worked reference in the proper field (DAI) should make as follows: from menu "File" select "Files Manager" then "Export log in file" then select: “Copy in Comment” = DAI, “File type” = ADIF log generic e “QSOs Filter” = All QSOs. Remember that the DAI reference MUST BE in format XXnnnn, in which “XX” is the two-letter-code of the Italian Region and “nnnn” is the number of the reference in four digit format, neither spaces nor hyphen, and no "DAI" before, just two letter and four numbers otherwise the automated system will reject your wrong formatted entries Examples: AE0025, CP0152, PM1258 are OK; AZ-0005, PL128,  VN[space]0548, DAI-SD0015 are NOT good. Users of other logging softwares or that recorded the reference in the Comment field: just export the ADIF file without copying the contents of the DAI field in the Comment field. Then upload your ADIF file at https://www.rblob.com/daiday/index.asp (pse follow the directions).

Prizes: first, second and third of each category (Activator/portable and Hunter) and first non-I Hunter will be awarded.

Penalties: each QSO not matching in the logs - the elements that must match are: Activator,  Hunter, Date, Band and DAI Reference - won't be considered for the calculation of the final score. Each claimed reference not found or different in the Activator's log  won't be considered as valid multiplier. Activators that won't send the requested material or that will send it beyond the deadline without any justification will be disqualified and they cannot partecipate to next DAI-days. Activators and Hunters that won't respect the rules or guilty of proven fraudulent actions will be also disqualified, and they could be subject of further measures by the Staff DAI

For any claims the  DAI Staff will decide definitively and without appel.
